2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 376,420,504,506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, on the false promise of marriage, petitioner established physical relation with the victim and later on refused to marry. Petitioner abused and assaulted the victim.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that as a matter of fact father of the victim had taken money from the petitioner and when he demanded the same, the present false case has been lodged. Moreover, at the relevant time, petitioner was staying in Bombay and there was complete Covid lock down in the country. Petitioner claims clean

5. Learned counsel for the State and the informant oppose the prayer for bail. They submit that girl in her 164 Cr.P.C. statement has supported the prosecution case.
6. Considering the nature and gravity of allegation and section 164 CrPC statement of the victim, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
