2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Saur Bazar (Patarghat O.P.) P.S. Case No. 711 of 2023 dated 14.11.2023 registered for the offences punishable u/ss 406, 419, 420, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the land mentioned in the FIR was executed by one Sri Shivnandan Singh in the name of four sons of Late Thakur Prasad Singh, namely lately Brhamdev Narayan Singh, Shri Vishundev Narayan Singh, Shri Kameshwar Singh and Shri Gyandev Singh. Currently on the website of Bihar Government, the said land is showing in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31158 of 2024(2) dt.30-04-2024 2/3 name of petitioner, Taranand Singh and one Gopal Prasad Singh. Even Register-II also stands in the name of the petitioner Taranand singh and Gopal Prasad Singh. It is alleged that the petitioner and the co-accused persons along with some unknown persons executed the said sale deed by tampering with the original copy of sale deed.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. The informant is the cousin brother of the petitioner. The alleged sale deed bearing sale deed no. 16400 dated 25.11.1980 is in the joint name of father of both the petitioner and the informant. It is a case of civil dispute. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 28.02.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court
