For the Respondent/s :

Mr.Kumar Kamal Nayan, AC to SC-28 ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 03-08-2023 The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the order dated 22.05.1999, passed by the Superintendent of Police, Madhubani, whereby and whereunder though the petitioner has been imposed the punishment of one black mark, however it has been mentioned therein that the same would not have any effect on next annual increment, apart from his wage increment being withheld for six months. The petitioner also seeks quashing of the appellate order dated 10.05.2003, passed by the D.I.G., Darbhanga Range, Darbhanga, whereby and whereunder the order of punishment dated 22.05.1999, has been upheld.

Patna High Court CWJC No.19471 of 2014(2) dt.03-08-2023 2/2 The learned counsel for the petitioner has at the outset submitted that the petitioner has already stood retired, hence the petitioner would be satisfied in case it is directed that the order of punishment dated 22.05.1999, would not have any stigmatic effect on the future career prospect of the petitioner. It is directed accordingly.

The present writ petition stands disposed off. (Mohit Kumar Shah, J) sonal/- U
