Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Salimpur P.S. Case No. 257 of 2019 registered for the offence under sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 452, 307, 302, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case due to dirty village politics. Petitioner is 80 years old. There is specific allegation against co-accused. Further submission is that petitioner is languishing in jail custody since 13.12.2019 and he has no criminal antecedent.
