The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Akbarpur P.S. Case No. 189 of 2016 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 302, 385 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code. Regard being had to the gravity of the offence and the allegation that the petitioner along with other co-accused being variously armed came to the house of the informant and started abusing him for non-payment of Rangdari tax and when the informant along with his family members came out from the house then they caught hold of his son Shankar Singh and shot him dead,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11658 of 2018 (2) dt.27-02-2018 2/2 I am not inclined to grant him pre arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
