====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 02-08-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That the present application is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to give the petitioner A.C.P. benefits along with the difference of arrears with interest on and from the due date 07.08.2004 in the scale of Rs.6500-200-10500 as has been given to similarly situated other employees including juniors and also for direction to the respondents to give promotion to the petitioner to the vacant post of Revenue Officer and for any other relief or direction in the facts and circumstances of the case."

Patna High Court CWJC No.18677 of 2014(2) dt.02-08-2023 2/2 At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that only part payment has been made as a result of grant of the benefits of A.C.P. and further promotion has also not been made to the post of Revenue Officer, hence the petitioner be granted liberty to approach the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation, Patna for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted. It is needless to state that in case appropriate representation is filed by the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from today, the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation, Patna, shall consider the same in accordance with law and pass a reasoned and speaking order, within a period of eight weeks, thereafter.

The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
