JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL ORDER 01-08-2019 As none appeared on behalf of the petitioner, the matter was passed over for a few cases. However on repeat call, the petitioner was again not represented.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 (hereinafter referred to as "the Prohibition Act, 2016") registered in connection with Special Case No. 9251 of 2018 arising out of Chowk P.S. Case No. 387 of 2018.

3. At the very outset, this Court takes note that the petitioner is accused in three prior prior cases under the Prohibition Act, 2016 from which it appears that the petitioner is a habitual offender .

4. Having regard to the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to consider the petition on merits for grant of the privilege of anticipatory bail to him. The anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed.
