In the present case the petitioner is challenging the order of cognizance dated 5.6.2015 passed by the Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna City, Patna in Alamganj P.S.Case No. 8/2015, corresponding to G.R.No. 103/2015 for the offences under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

This Court does not find any merit in this application. Accordingly, the same is dismissed.

The court below is directed to complete the trial within nine months from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1294 of 2016 (3) dt.11-08-2016 order.

The Sessions Judge, Patna is directed that if the court concerned is not available, it should be transferred to a court where the court is functioning at present.
