The petitioner has challenged the order of punishment of withholding of five increments with non-cumulative effect by order, dated 29.04.2005, as contained in Anenxure 3, passed by the respondent no. 3, the Managing Director of the Central Cooperative Bank, Gopalganj.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court in the matter of an employee of the Central Cooperative Bank found the writ not maintainable and directed the petitioners to approach the Registrar, Cooperative Societies, for redressal of his grievance in C.W.J.C. No. 588 of 2015 and other analogous cases, disposed of on 12.05.2015.

Without going into the merits of the case, this writ

Patna High Court CWJC No.20985 of 2011(6) dt.09-08-2018 2/2 application is dismissed as not maintainable. However, it will not come in the way of the petitioner approaching the Registrar, Cooperative Societies in terms of Section 48 of the Bihar Cooperative Societies Act and in case the petitioner approaches the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, the same will be disposed of expeditiously in accordance with law.
