The present petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs :- "(i) For issuance of a writ of certiorari for quashing of impugned order dated 02.09.2014 (Annexure-123 passed by the learned Court of Collector, Araria in Misc. Appeal No.2 of 2011-12/ 5 of 2014-15, whereby and whereunder order dated 07.08.2012 passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer Araria holding the selection of the petitioner to the post of Gram Kachahari Sachiv, Gram Panchayat Pachira

Patna High Court CWJC No.19009 of 2014(2) dt.03-08-2023 2/2 Block Raniganj District- Araria as legally valid has been set aside on erroneous and misconceived technical ground not applicable in the present case.

(ii) To stay the impugned order during the pendency of writ petition and direct the concerned respondent authority not to disturb the service of the petitioner to the post of Gram Kachahari Sachiv by considering the fact that the petitioner was selected in the meeting dated 08.02.2008 and duly appointed to the post through appointment letter dated 13.02.2008 issued under signature of respondent No.8 and since then he has been working to the post continuously without any hindrance."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the tenure of Gram Kachahari Sachiv, Gram Panchayat Pachira, Block Raniganj District- Araria is already over, as such, the present petition has been rendered infructuous, hence, the present writ petition be disposed off.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
