In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Forbesganj (Simraha) P.S. Case No. 916 of 2017 (G.R. No. 3806 of 2017) registered for offences under sections 341, 323, 307, 504, 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per allegation made in the First Information Report, in the midnight, the petitioner along with five unknown persons forcibly entered into the house of the Informant and assaulted him and other family members.
Looking to the entire facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17701 of 2018(3) dt.17-04-2018 2/2 Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner, namely, Jay Kishor Singh is rejected. If the petitioner surrenders before the court below and pray for bail, the court below, without being prejudiced by this order, will consider the same and pass order in accordance with law.
