The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the order contained in Memo No.743 dated 07.11.2014 passed by the District Magistrate-cum-Chairman, District Health Committee, Siwan, the respondent no.5 whereby and whereunder her selection as Mamta Worker has been cancelled.

(ii) Further for issuance of an

Patna High Court CWJC No.19716 of 2015(2) dt.12-10-2023 2/2 appropriate writ, order or direction, commanding and directing the concerned respondent authorities to appoint the petitioner as Mamta Worker under the District Health Committee, Siwan in the light of the recommendation of Regional Director, Health Services, Saran Division, Saran."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
