JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 18-02-2016 The Court is not inclined to exercise its discretion after the results have been declared and rights have been created. The facts are that the petitioner claims to be a Backward Category candidate and was an applicant for the post of a General Medical Officer. Even though a declaration was made with regard to caste, since the supporting certification was not provided at the relevant time, the result of the petitioner was declared under General Category. Now that the petitioner has missed out in that category he has produced a certificate now being issued to assert a right. Settled things cannot be unsettled and the petitioner cannot be rewarded for omission on his part by interfering with
