The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Makhdumpur P.S. Case No.275 of 2016 registered under Sections 302, 201 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the gravity of the offence and the fact that the name of the petitioner transpired in course of investigation on the basis of disclosure made by a co-accused wherein he stated active participation of the petitioner in commission of murder of the victim, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail.

Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5640 of 2018 (2) dt.09-02-2018 2/2 of the petitioner is rejected.
