The petitioner seeks a direction to the Municipal Corporation for making payment of Rs.65,52,000/- along with interest and penal interest for delayed payment which is due against supply of total 4680 mobile phones.
At the outset, learned counsel for the Corporation has put in appearance and submits that the admitted amount shall be paid without any delay in any case not later than two weeks

In case the petitioner intends to claim any interest, he shall be at liberty to take recourse to the remedy available to him under law.
