26-08-2016 The present petition has been filed by the petitioner against whom there was specific accusation in the F.I.R. and after submission of chargesheet, cognizance order was passed. The order, which is under challenge, is the order, whereby the case has been committed to the court of sessions. Since cognizance order was passed under Section 307 & other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, 1959, Sri Ramesh Chandra, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor submits that it appears that present petition was filed only-and-only with a view to delay the commencement of trial.

I have perused the materials on record. There is nothing to interfere with the proceeding.

The petition stands dismissed.
