The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with a case registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 8.3.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. no.48590 of 2021 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail on completing one year in custody. The petitioner has remained in custody for more than one year since 25.6.2021. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the liberty granted to the petitioner in the aforesaid order of rejection dated 8.3.2022 together with the

No.28434 of 2022(2) dt.06-07-2022 2/2 petitioner having remained in custody for more than 1 year, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Special Case no.3800 of 2021 (arising out of Danapur P.S. Case no.417 of 2021) on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, Danapur, Patna.
