The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "For issuance of a writ in the nature of Writ of Certiorari for quashing the order dated 16.08.2012 communicated to the petitioner vide memo no. 913 as contained in Annexure-3 to the Writ Application."

It is an admitted fact that the letters patent appeal,

Patna High Court CWJC No.19529 of 2014(3) dt.10-08-2023 2/2 filed by the petitioner bearing LPA No.745 of 2012, had stood dismissed by an order dated 26.08.2014, passed by the learned Division Bench of this Court, whereafter the petitioner had preferred a special leave petition bearing Special Leave to Appeal (C)... CC No(s).20460 of 2015, which has also stood dismissed by an order dated 23.11.2015, passed by the Hon'ble Apex Court, hence it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that nothing survives for consideration in the present writ petition, however, the petitioner may be granted liberty to approach the respondent-authorities for reducing the quantum of punishment.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
