Admittedly, the petitioner was appointed as an Adult Education Supervisor under a scheme. The State Government in a general decision to absorb such Adult Education Supervisor in pursuance of selection made by this Court accordingly they were appointed afresh in 2006.

The petitioner prays for counting earlier period of service for grant of ACP and other benefits.

However, as per the reply filed by the respondents the

Patna High Court CWJC No.19709 of 2014(3) dt.12-12-2022 2/2 earlier period of service rendered by the petitioner is only to be counted for pension purpose.

Decision of absorption and counting earlier period of daily wage service is a policy decision of the Government and in such matters no interference is warranted by this Court as no right is created in favour of daily wager.

The writ petition is devoid of merit and, accordingly, dismissed.
