2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Imamganj P.S. Case No. 289/2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The petitioner and other criminals looted Rs. 3.5 Lakhs approx and the vehicle in question from the informant and others.

4. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has clean antecedents and there is no material to connect him with the crime. The name of the petitioner has come in the self-incultpatory statement of other co-accused. The petitioner is in jail since 15.11.2023.

5. The learned APP for the State has vehemently

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33573 of 2024(3) dt.13-09-2024 2/2 opposed the prayer of the petitioner and has submitted that during investigation, the involvement of the petitioner has come in the alleged crime.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the materials available on record, I am not inclined to grant bail to this petitioner. This application is, accordingly, dismissed.

7. The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail if the trial is delayed.
