1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1. That, this writ application is being filed by the petitioner for issuance of an appropriate writ, and/or order/orders, direction/directions in the nature of Mandamus directing the Respondents to allot the contract work also to the small contractors who are debarred to obtain even small works, who are educated unemployed youth registered as contractor with licence of contract with well experience of works."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances.
