2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Bhagwanpur P.S. Case No. 319 dated 2023 registered for the offences punishable under sections 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 and 8 of D.P. Act later added Section 302 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant got the marriage of his daughter solemnized with Ranjit Kumar (coaccused). The petitioner and her family members started demanding Rs. 1.5 lakh and on non-fulfillment they used to assault and torture her. Thereafter, the petitioner along with the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31042 of 2024(3) dt.31-07-2024 2/2 co-accused killed the informant's daughter by pressing her neck.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased. The allegation against the petitioner is general and omnibus in nature. The petitioners have clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioners are in custody since 26.11.2023.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Begusarai, in connection with Bhagwanpur P.S. Case No. 319 of 2023.

7. The application stands allowed.
