JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 19-06-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1. (i) For issuance of an appropriate direction, order or writ in the nature of Certiorari quashing the Memo No. 990 dated 16th August, 2014, issued by the Block Development Officer, Dandkhora by which, the petitioner and the then Secretary, Maheshpur Gram Panchayat were directed to deposit the entire amount within a period of one week, failing which, FIR was directed to be lodged against the petitioner.

Patna High Court CWJC No.20977 of 2014(2) dt.19-06-2024 2/2 (ii) For holding and declaring that the said order issued by the respondent concerned, is whimsical and bad in law."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that with the efflux of time, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous, nonetheless, the petitioner be granted liberty to avail such remedies as are otherwise available under the law, in case any cause of action arises, henceforth. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The present writ petition stands disposed off.
