The petitioner is in custody in connection with Kuchaykote P.S. Case No. 392 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 414 of the I.P.C. and Section 30 (a) (b) (c), 41 (a) (b) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that in the instant case total 3456 liters 720 Ml liquor was seized. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no concern with the seized liquor. Petitioner was driver of the said container truck and he was not aware of the fact that liquor was hidden under the bags of goods

Considering the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Let the petitioner named above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Learned A.D.J.IInd -cum- Special Judge, Gopalganj, in connection with Kuchaykota P.S.
