The present writ applications have been filed for a

Patna High Court CWJC No.13295 of 2008 dt.23-02-2017 2/3 direction to the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of promotion in terms of the time bound promotion schemes as well as in terms of the UGC scheme. The prayer was also made for grant of Assured Career Progression with effect from 01.01.1996.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that today a supplementary counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent nos. 2 and 3 stipulating that first, second and third A.C.Ps. have been granted to the petitioner vide memo no. 697 dated 26.05.2016, as contained in Annexure-A to the supplementary counter affidavit, issued under the signature of Joint Secretary, Education, Government of Bihar wherein the name of the petitioner appears at serial no.14.

Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for disposal of the present writ application in view of the present stand of the respondent with a liberty to move this Court again if admitted dues will not be paid within a period of eights weeks. In view of the present stand of the respondents, it is expected from the respondent authorities to make payment of the consequential financial benefits arising out of grant of abovementioned three A.C.Ps. within a period of eight weeks
