2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Phenhara P.S. Case No. 134 of 2023 for the offence under sections 341, 323, 307, 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 08.09.2023 by the informant, Harendra Prasad.
3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that while returning after 'Chehallum', the petitioner has entered his shop and assaulted him on the head as a result, he became unconscious and was taken to the Hospital. This led to the FIR.
4. Though learned counsel for the petitioner tried to show his innocence submitting that the injury has not been found to be grievous, learned APP, Mr. Jitendra Kumar Singh, on the other hand, opposes the prayer submitting that not only

5. Taking into account the submission of the parties, this Court is not inclined to extend him privilege of anticipatory bail.
6. The anticipatory bail application stands rejected.
7. If, however, the petitioner surrenders within four weeks, the concerned Court shall take up the matter and dispose it of preferably on the same day.
