2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Bettiah Muffasil P.S. Case No. 21 of 2025 registered for offences under Sections 25(9) of the Arms Act and Sections 308(4), 308(5), 140(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. From the FIR, there is no allegation of any overt act against the petitioner. He is only said to have called the victim.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is quite innocent and has not committed any offence. He further submits that now the victim and informant have joined hands and they are together.
5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25929 of 2025(5) dt.17-02-2026 2/2 the prayer for bail.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this application for anticipatory bail stands allowed.
7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above-named, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today in the Court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah/concerned Court below in connection with Bettiah Muffasil P.S. Case No. 21 of 2025 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
