JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 28-02-2018 This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for a direction to the respondent to allow the petitioner to perform the work of Mukhiya of Gram Panchayat Raj Patasang of Block Rahui due to removal of Mukhiya Ranju Devi since 21.11.2013.

Despite repeated calls, learned counsel for the petitioner did not turn up.

Learned counsel appearing for the State submitted that the writ petition has become infructuous as fresh election for the post of Mukhiya has already been held in March, 2016. In view of the submissions made above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
