Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barbigha (Keoti O.P) P.S. Case No. 134 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a), 32(ii), 41(1) of the Bihar Excise (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 15.03.2023 and there is recovery of 1870.5 litres of foreign liquor from his possession and he has clean antecedent.

Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.

Considering the period of custody and recovery of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28155 of 2023(2) dt.15-05-2023 2/2 liquor from his possession, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Excise Judge, Sheikhpura in connection with Barbigha (Keoti O.P) P.S. Case No. 134 of 2023.
