JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL ORDER 20-09-2018 The matter relates to appointment by way of selection pursuant to an advertisement dated 30.10.1991. These petitioners were holding the post of Assistant and in the process initiated sought appointment to the post of Commercial Tax Officer. It is not in dispute that the matter travelled up to the Supreme Court and it is by virtue of liberty so granted by the Supreme Court that the matter came back to this Court and in the meanwhile all the petitioners have superannuated rendering the issue academic for even if they succeed there cannot be ante-dated appointment. The writ petition is disposed of.
