2. In the year 1970, the father of the petitioner was granted Arms licence and when the father of the petitioner became old age, an application was filed by the petitioner for transfer of Arms licence in his name on account of advance age of his father.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the writ application, the father of the petitioner died and as such there is necessity to transfer the licence/grant licence in favour of the petitioner. He further submits that the matter is pending consideration before the administration and till date they are indecisive in the matter

4. Considering the aforesaid, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Buxar to take appropriate decision in the matter of grant of arms licence after completing all the formalities in accordance with existing Rule within a period of 60 days after completion of general election.

5. While taking decision, the respondents have to take into consideration the Annexure-8, issued for the purpose of transfer of arms licence.
