2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Karai Parsurai P.S. Case No. 139 of 2023 instituted under Sections 341, 323, 307, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 17.12.2023 by the informant, Deepak Kumar.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that while he was sitting, the petitioner alongwith one Anshu Gope in a drunken condition and after abuse, assaulted. Further, this petitioner came up with a pistol and opened fir causing injury in his right hand. Accordingly, the FIR.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that allegation of opening fire is there, injury is simple in nature.

6. Taking into account the allegation that has come against the petitioner as also his criminal antecedent, no relief can be granted. His anticipatory bail application stands rejected. (Rajiv Roy, J) Ravi/- U T
