JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-09-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Bakhtiarpur P. S. Case No. 99 of 2017 registered under Sections 304-B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Regard being had to the gravity of the offence and the allegation that the daughter-in-law of the petitioners was killed in her matrimonial home and the post-mortem report shows that the death was caused due to asphyxia on account of strangulation, I am not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41533 of 2017 (2) dt.19-09-2017 2/2 petitioners. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
