JUSTICE ARVIND SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 21-12-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Mehsi P.S. Case No. 78 of 2015 registered under Sections- 341, 323, 506, 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The allegation against the petitioner, who is husband of the informant, is of cruelty and harassment due to non-fulfillment of demand of motorcycle.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present case has been lodged only to make pressure on the petitioner for getting chance to live with petitioner as his wife. Perusal of the statements made in the application shows that petitioner is not ready to keep the informant as wife.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51947 of 2016 (2) dt.21-12-2016 Considering the aforesaid fact, I do not feel inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. His prayer for grant of anticipatory bail is, therefore, rejected.
