2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Laxmipur P.S. Case No. 202 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable u/s 394 of the I.P.C.
3. As per the prosecution case, on 07.06.2024, the informant was going to Anantpur Bank, in the meantime, two persons came there on car and intercepted the bike of the informant and started assaulting him. On being rescued by the informant's colleague, two other persons came out of the car and snatched the key of the informant's bike and cash amount of Rs. 17,750/- and fled away.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29548 of 2025(2) dt.02-05-2025 2/3 that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is not named in the FIR and his name has surfaced on the confessional statement of the co-accused Sunil Kumar Das. It is next submitted that no incriminating article has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and no TIP has been conducted for the verification of the accused persons. It is further submitted that the co-accused, namely, Mithun Kumar Das has already been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 19.03.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 13996 of 2025. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner has three criminal antecedents and is in custody since 13.11.2024.
5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and has stated that the petitioner along with other accused persons has committed the alleged offence.

Considering the aforesaid submissions of the parties and taking into account the fact that the petitioner is not named in the FIR and his name has transpired on the confessional statement of the co-accused Sunil Kumar Das and till date no TIP has been conducted for the verification of the accused persons coupled with the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 13.11.2024, let the petitioner above-named, be
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29548 of 2025(2) dt.02-05-2025 3/3 enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Jamui in connection with Laxmipur P.S. Case No. 202 of 2024.
