The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Agamkuan P.S. Case No.669 of 2020, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 498(A), 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Accusation is of assaulting the informant and her daughter by the petitioner and other in-laws. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail petition. It is further submitted that the matter has been compromised

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31755 of 2023(3) dt.11-07-2023 2/2 between the parties. A copy of compromise petition is annexed as Annexure-2 to this bail petition. The petitioner has relied upon the judgment of this Court in the case of Md. Naimul Haque Ansari @ Naimul Haque Ansari & Ors. Vs. The State of Bihar, reported in 2006 (3) PLJR 182.

In that view of the matter, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Agamkuan P.S. Case No.669 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. If so advised, either of the parties will be at liberty to make an application before the learned court below for referring the matter to the District Mediation Centre for the purpose of reconciliation or for one time settlement.
