In this case, the petitioner is apprehending her arrest in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 614 of 2017 registered for offences under sections 326A, 307, 120B of the Indian Penal Code and subsequently added Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

An allegation has been made that in the midnight, the accused persons have poured acid causing injury to the victim and two children and, ultimately, the victim has died in the P.M.C.H., Patna.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that two other co-accused ladies have been granted anticipatory/regular bail.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11943 of 2018(2) dt.27-02-2018 2/2 Looking to the nature of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner, namely, Fatima Khatoon @ Fatima is rejected. If the petitioner surrenders before the court below within a period of three weeks from today, the court below, without being prejudiced by this order, will pass orders in accordance with law.
