The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Barari P.S. Case No. 62 of 2016, registered for the offences punishable under Section 379 and some other Sections of the Indian Penal Code. The informant alleged that while he was returning to his house the petitioners Mukesh Mandal and Ravindra Mandal @ Pinna Mandal and other accused persons caught him. The petitioners and others abused and assaulted the informant and took out money from his pocket.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there is counter version being Barari P.S. Case No. 63 of 2016. Janki Devi, wife of petitioner no. 1 Mukesh Mandal lodged the aforesaid

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46566 of 2016 (3) dt.13-12-2016 2/2 case. The injuries found on the person of the informant are simple in nature.

Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegations made against the petitioners, the petitioners above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in Barari P.S. Case No. 62 of 2016, Subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
