It is also stated that the departmental enquiry was conducted and the enquiry officer submitted the report. Grievance of the petitioner is that the disciplinary proceedings have not been concluded as yet. Heard Shri C.M. Chaurasia, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State. More than seven years have elapsed since the

Patna High Court CWJC No.17702 of 2008 (2) dt.20-03-2015 2/2 proceedings were initiated.

There cannot be any justification to keep them pending for such a long time, particularly when the enquiry officer has also submitted his report.

The writ petition is disposed of directing that in case the disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner has not been concluded as yet, the same shall be concluded within three months from the date of the receipt of the order. In default, the proceedings shall stand terminated.
