2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in Mansi Rail P. S. Case No. 03 of 2022 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 472, 120(b)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Prosecution case, in brief, is that the F.I.R. named accused persons formed a gang to cheat people by promising railway jobs. It is alleged that the accused persons took Rs.8,50,000/-, issued forged appointment letters and fake railway ID cards to the victims.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and his name transpired during course of investigation in confessional statement of co-accused Amit

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34938 of 2026(2) dt.15-05-2026 2/2 Kumar. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that during course of investigation, it has come that this petitioner was also involved in the fraudulent appointment racket.

6. Considering the nature and seriousness of accusation, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is refused.
