The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Hulasganj P.S. Case No.63/2017 registered under Sections 307, 379 along with other minor Sections of the Indian Penal Code. The informant alleged that while he along with his grand mother was returning, Amrendra Kumar, Baidyanath Yadav, K.P. Yadav, Shiv Janak Yadav and Sonu Yadav intercepted them and assaulted the informant and others. When Manoj Kumar, who was also returning to his village, came to save the informant, the petitioner Mantu Yadav and three others are alleged to have assaulted Manoj Kumar.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Manoj Kumar got simple injury by hard and blunt object. Some

No.25762 of 2018 (2) dt.03-05-2018 2/2 altercation took place due to payment of money but it appears from perusal of the F.I.R. itself that the petitioner assaulted Manoj Kumar, who came to save his co-villager. It appears that when the informant and others were returning, the accused persons intercepted them and brutally assaulted them with fists and slaps. Considering the allegations made against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected in Hulasganj P.S. Case No.63/2017, pending in the court of Sri R. K. Rajak, A.C.J.M., Jehanabad.
