1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this petition is being filed in nature of Certiorari for quashing the letter vide memo no. 1480 dated 03.05.2017, whereby minor punishment has been inflicted upon the petitioner by withholding one increment with cumulative effect for not submitting show-cause notices to different officials who were absent in the meeting and further in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents concerned to pay the withhold amount with statutory interest."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the order

Patna High Court CWJC No.7740 of 2022(2) dt.09-01-2024 2/2 dated 29.04.2017, as contained in Memo dated 03.05.2017, passed by the District Magistrate, Aurangabad, by filing appropriate appeal. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate appeal is filed by the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from today, the Appellate Authority, shall consider the same on merits and pass a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
