The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to make payment of compensation amount along with the interest for their joint family agriculture land bearing Khata No. 801, Khesra No. 2980 at Mauja Kemkarnpur, Jalilpur Pra Milki, District Begusarai, total measuring 3 bighas, 1 khata and 4 dhurs which was acquired by the Government in the year 2001 itself.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the land of

Patna High Court CWJC No.22276 of 2014 dt.12-10-2017 the petitioners having been acquired over 15 years ago, and despite assurances of payment of compensation for the same, the petitioners have not received the due amount of compensation.

4. Learned counsel for the respondents appears and has been heard.

5. Having regard to the nature of prayer of the petitioners, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioners to approach the Land Acquisition Officer, District Begusarai (Respondent no. 3) by filing a fresh representation for redressal of their grievances. If any such representation is filed within two weeks from today, the same shall be disposed of within a further period of three months thereafter, after granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, in accordance with law.
