The present petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs :- "(i) For directing and commanding the respondents to quash the letter no. 132 dated 16.12.2006, passed by the respondent no. 5, Assistant Engineer, Minor Irrigation Division-III, Begusarai, District-Begusarai, by which petitioner no. 1 has been discharged from his work from 16.12.2006 as he was absent from his duty.

(ii) For directing and commanding the respondents to regularize the petitioner as the work is already there and schemes are in

Patna High Court CWJC No.22443 of 2014(2) dt.16-08-2023 2/2 running condition."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies, as are otherwise available under the law for redressal of his subsisting grievances. Liberty so sought, is granted.
