The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Mahnar P.S. Case No. 93 of 2021 registered for the offences under Sections 363 and 376-D of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 4 and 8 of the POCSO Act.

The petitioner is accused of rapping a minor girl. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. This application for anticipatory bail is dismissed.

The petitioner is directed to surrender in the court below within two weeks from today.

During course of argument, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the victim has entered into compromise with accused persons, namely, Deepak Kumar and Vishal Kumar (present petitioner).

The court below is directed to conclude the trial within six months from today.
