Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 498(A), 504, 506, 354/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Allegation against this petitioner is that he along with other F.I.R. named accused persons committed torture and harassment to the Nanad of the informant due to non fulfillment of demand of dowry.

Petitioner is husband of Puja Kumari.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28204 of 2022(4) dt.03-04-2023 2/2 present case. He is ready to keep his wife with full honour and dignity.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail application and submits that there is specific allegation of commission of torture and harassment against the petitioner. Petitioner happens to be husband of the victim and there is direct and specific allegation of torture and harassment for dowry. Earlier, matter was referred before District Mediation Centre, but it failed.

Regard being had to nature of allegation, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Navya/- U T
