Petitioners pray for anticipatory bail in Bihta P.S. Case No. 846 of 2015 registered under sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. In substance, the allegation is that the accused persons came and started abusing the informant. Subsequently, the petitioner no. 1 hurled out threats and as the informant proceeded further, it is alleged that petitioner no. 1 and others forced him down from motorcycle and started assaulting. Petitioner no. 2 also arrived with lathi and contributed in assault.

Contention of the petitioners is that no specific allegation of assault is attributed to the petitioners. Allegations are general and omnibus. The injuries sustained by the informant are not

Learned APP, on the other hand, submits that the informant received injuries on the vital parts which corroborate the prosecution case. Some witnesses, in course of investigation, have supported the case.

In my view, it is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Prayer is rejected.
