JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 09-01-2017 In order dated 01.12.2016, in the opening line, due to secretarial inadvertence, the word 'petitioner' has wrongly been typed instead of the word 'State'.

2. Let the same be read as 'State'.

3. The petitioner was appointed as Jail Warden on 15.04.1971 and was posted at Mandal Kara, Darbhanga. He retired from service with effect from 30th September, 2012 from Central Jail, Bhagalpur.

4. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that certain amount of provident fund of the petitioner has not been paid till date.

5. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the State that in case the petitioner files a representation before the Superintendent of Central Jail, Bhagalpur, and if any amount of the petitioner would be due to be paid to him, the same would certainly be paid to him expeditiously.

6. In view of the submission made on behalf of the parties, the petitioner is directed to raise his claim by filing representation before the Superintendent, Central Jail, Bhagalpur within four weeks from today. In case such a representation is filed, the respondent no.4 shall be obliged to examine the same and dispose it of by a reasoned order within six weeks from the date of filing of the representation. If any amount is found payable to the petitioner, he shall issue necessary sanction order/authority slip for payment of admitted dues within a period of two months of the receipt of the claim.

7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ application is disposed of.
