Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court, vide order dated 25.9.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No.41106 of 2018 and there is allegation of recovery of one double barrel gun from the possession of the petitioner on confession of the co-accused and he is accused in four other cases.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is in custody for 14 months and the case has not been committed to the court of sessions. . Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of allegation and antecedent, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner,

No.25391 of 2019(2) dt.24-04-2019 2/2 however, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and once the commitment is made, expedite the trial also and try to conclude it within a period of ten months and if not concluded, the petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.

With the aforesaid direction, this application is dismissed.
