The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Riga P.S. Case No.166/2023, registered for the offence punishable u/s 304(B) of the IPC.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner in association with other F.I.R. named accused persons is alleged to have killed the sister of the informant.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has not committed any offence as alleged in the FIR. No such occurrence in the manner as alleged, has ever taken place. He has been falsely implicated in this case due to ulterior motive. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. The petitioner has no criminal

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30297 of 2024(4) dt.12-07-2024 2/2 antecedent and has been languishing in custody since 06.07.2023 and one of the co-accused has been granted anticipatory bail by this Court.

Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for bail. 6.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The prayer for grant of bail on his behalf is hereby rejected.

However, petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge.

With the aforesaid liberty, the present bail petitioner is hereby dismissed.
